The Triple Double bolsters the health system by advancing three interconnected goals:

Double the investment in primary care from 5% to 10% of health care spending

to strengthen access to coordinated, preventive care while improving outcomes and reducing long-term costs.

Double the reach of primary care, beginning with increasing community health center capacity from 10% to 20%

to help millions get timely, affordable care, especially in under resourced communities.

Double the next generation primary care workforce from 20% to 40% of clinicians choosing to work in primary care

to ensure every community has access to care.

For decades, primary care has been the backbone of health care, yet it remains chronically underfunded and undervalued.
