As the national membership organization for the nation’s federally qualified health centers (also known as FQHCs or Community Health Centers), NACHC provides a unified voice for this primary care network. NACHC strengthens the health center movement through advocacy, training and technical assistance, clinical and operations support, and more.
Community Health Centers are nonprofit, community-directed health clinics that provide access to high-quality, culturally competent and comprehensive care to people living in medically underserved areas. Serving 30 million patients annually, Community Health Centers make up the largest primary care network in the nation serving all patients regardless of their ability to pay. NACHC educates key stakeholders on the value of primary care to ensure Americans live healthier and more productive lives.
